We are eight weeks old and beginning new lives!

It seems that every week something new and exciting happens! Well this week was really big news and a lot of it!

First off we got a lot of  visitors! Last weekend, Ann's brother Dave, his wife Patti, and their 3 girls, Maggie, Dorie, and Josie came to visit. Tegan and her friend Dan came too! We got to snuggle and play and even hang out one night for a campfire and fall asleep in everyone's arms.  We also loved that Josie pretended to be a puppy she loved us so much!
Look who thinks she's a puppy too!

We see are fun to watch and draw!

Then the "work" week seemed to start out much like the last two with our wonderful puppy sitter, Fiona, joining us at 8:00AM. Most days she comes after we've been moved us to our outdoor play area and Ann and Jim cleaned up our indoor "bedroom". Monday though it rained so we got to play in the protected kennel in the garage! Fiona even stopped by with one of her friends, Martin, after our dinner and our romp through the yard and up the front steps into the house (yes we learned to climb stairs!) and we visited for hours!
Fiona and us!
During the day we were mostly outside running and sleeping and rough and tumbling and sleeping and playing with our toys and sleeping! We also loved getting attention and rushed to the pen wall when folks like Steve and Cheryl come to visit. We admit to begging "pick me up, pick me up, pick ME up!" And of course when Mom comes, we do anything to get her attention. She's always not too far away watching us.
Mom is always nearby!

The week got even more interesting on Friday when Jim's sister and Ann's best friend FOREVER, Cathy, and her awesome husband Jerry came to visit! And guess what - they fell in love with Tucker - and took him home to Rochester, NY! We even heard he got to visit their son and daughter-in-law and their cute as a pinch new son. Cathy and Jerry even brought Tucker, now named Riley, a toy all for himself! He is going to be a therapy dog and keep on giving lots of people joy! We were all kind of a bit jealous!

But then it got even BETTER because 4 more of our new families came! We were so happy because we already knew them and they came BACK for us! Lulu's ( now named Sophie) family was first and they brought their granddaughter, and then came Tracker's. He's now Gruner and has a new big sister spaniel, Gemma. They were soon nice - they had brought us toy balls last time they visited and they brought awesome Farmhouse Chocolates for Ann and Jim this time! Then came Phoenix (now Scout), he's going to have their really smart five year daughter, and a baby kitten to play with and an older dog to play with!

And then last but not least from Canada came Mollie and Dom. Mollie used to be one of Ann's awesome students at Champlain College! And she used to sit for all of Ann and Jim's dogs when they would travel. She even knew when Maisey was sick and got her to the vet. We all love Mollie and Dom! Oh and did we tell you, they brought Mom (Addie) a gift certificate for a day at the doggie spa???!!! She'll like that!

There sure was A LOT of love going around yesterday!!! There are still almost half of us still here with mommy, Ann, and Jim but don't you worry we are still having fun! We are looking forward to two more of our new families coming for us next weekend. Mommy is doing OK too. She seems to understand we need more room and more loving arms . She checked out and approved of each family and even said goodbye to each of our siblings individually before they left. Last night she snuggled up with the rest of us in the living room. That was nice. Today we are still playing and sleeping and having fun. And from messages Ann is getting, all of us in new homes are doing well today! We sure are grateful for all the love and joy that is going around!
